Renovating and Fulfilling
Our Maintenance Team has been hard at work throughout the summer, continuing to support our tenants and strengthen our community through their dedication and commitment.
The team has been making steady progress on preparing vacant units, completing repairs and renovations to ensure homes are ready for new tenants as quickly as possible. By reducing the turnaround time for vacant units, we are helping more families and individuals access safe, quality housing sooner.
In addition to preparing vacant units, the crew continues to complete maintenance work orders across our properties. Their ongoing efforts help keep our homes safe, comfortable, and well maintained, contributing to the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of our tenants.
This summer, we are also pleased to welcome several high school and post-secondary students to our Maintenance Team. Through hands on experience, these students are developing practical skills in building maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep while gaining valuable workplace experience. Investing in local youth not only helps build confidence and future career opportunities but also strengthens our community by developing the next generation of skilled workers.
At Brantford Native Housing, we recognize that maintaining quality housing and creating opportunities for youth go hand in hand. Together, these efforts contribute to stronger families, healthier neighbourhoods, and a more vibrant community for everyone.
We extend our sincere thanks to our Maintenance Team and our summer students for their hard work, dedication, and the positive impact they continue to make every day.
